Man shot in the head and chest at Campsie carpark

A man is fighting for his life in hospital following a shooting in a carpark in Sydney’s southwest.

The 27-year-old man was treated for gunshot wounds to his head and chest following the incident in Campsie about 9.15pm Tuesday.

Paramedics treated the man at the Canterbury Rd scene.

He was transported to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

Three cars were found burnt out in separate incidents at Kingsgrove, Berala and Birrong.

The car in Kingsgrove crashed into a home before a fire broke out.

Police are now investigating whether the incidents are linked.

Crime scenes have been established.
