In fact, yogis eat 50% solid diet, and 25% liquid diet, and they leave 25% of the space for the digestive juices, air and space. This helps in maintaining the right BMI.
  2. Walk 100-Steps: After eating a meal, don’t just sit down, get up and walk 100 steps. Walking 100 steps helps in activating the digestive organs and also aids the downward movement of food from the stomach to the intestines.
  3. Practise Yoga: There’s a yoga pose called vajrasana pose where you bend your legs and sit on your ankles. This helps in lengthening your spinal cord and keeping your digestive system in a straight line so that the food can move easily without any pressure.
