The plot has thickened on the Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner split in the days since their divorce was filed.
The Game of Thrones actress has remained relatively quiet after reports emerged the pair had split amid claims her singer husband was fed up with his wife for partying, while he had to stay home with the kids.
However, multiple sources close to Turner, 27, have hit back at the reports.

They have claimed the actress was “struggling” after giving birth to their second child in 2022 – while her husband was “less than supportive”, according to TMZ.
Sources claimed the mum had refused to leave the house because she felt “uncomfortable” going out in public so she made it clear to Jonas she “didn’t want to be” at the events.
When his wife was not supporting him at multiple events and nights out, Jonas claimed that she was “MIA and (he) felt she needed to get out more”.
Sources close to the couple said the “strain in the relationship” was clear to those close.
This report goes against previous claims from the publication that “(Turner) likes to party, (and Jonas) likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles”.
It’s been reported that Jonas made the decision to split after spotting his wife on a ring camera “saying and/or doing something that made him realise the marriage was over”.
Ring cameras are motion-activated security cameras that can be placed outside a property and can be viewed remotely via phone, tablet or computer.
It was also reported that Jonas has been caring for their two young daughters while Turner has been in the UK filming an upcoming series called Joan.
Additionally, it has been claimed that Turner, who married Jonas at 23, had regrets about “missing out” on her youth.
The couple met when Jonas was 26 and Turner 19.
Turner spent her early and mid-20s married and raising her two young girls.
“Sophie feels like she’s only just waking up to what her life and reality really is,” a source told Daily Mail.
“She became famous at a very young age, then married and had kids at a young age and never really had the teenage years of … just having carefree fun with friends.
“She feels like her life has stalled after Game of Thrones and so has her personal life.
“Now she feels that she wants to make up for the time she’s lost as a young person.
“He (Jonas) wants a more settled life but she’s not ready for that because she feels that she’s not even had a teen or young adult life.”
The “friend” of Turner’s said that around May she separated from Jonas and had spent the past few months “partying with school friends in the UK or holidaying with them in Europe”.
Throughout this time, Daily Mail reported that Jonas travelled with their children to the UK in an attempt to “save the marriage”.
He returned to the US with the children where he is touring with his band Jonas Brothers.
Turner appeared in high spirits in photos from the recent wrap party on September 2 of her series Joan in Birmingham.
Photos shared to Instagram showed the actress surrounded by friends as they all raised their glasses.
Both Jonas and Turner released a joint statement confirming the split on Instagram.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually agreed to amicably end our marriage,” they said on Thursday.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Jonas was spotted in August without his wedding ring while running errands in New York, first sparking speculation of a split.
