Cincinnati Bengals franchise pivot Joe Burrow‘s status for their season opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday is no longer in question.
At least according to the quarterback himself.
“I’m ready to go,” Burrow told reporters Wednesday.

Burrow returned to practice last week, more than a month after he was sidelined by a strained right calf muscle.
In late July, near the end of one of the first practices of training camp, Burrow hobbled on one leg and then went to the ground while scrambling out of the pocket. He rode off the field in a medical cart.
Burrow and the Bengals won the AFC North Division last season before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
The 26-year-old quarterback is expected to sign an extension with the Bengals that will make him one of the highest-paid players in the league.
