Shaw, 38, comes to BT after having appeared on The Marilyn Denis Show, The Social, CTV’s Your Morning, and etalk. She also hosted CHUM 104.5 and iHeartRadio’s syndicated national show, The Back in the Day Brunch.

“Well, this is going to be fun! I have so much respect for this award-winning team and great admiration for the BT audience,” Shaw said following the announcement.

In addition to her morning show gig, Shaw will host a weekend show on Toronto’s 98.1 CHFI and across Rogers Sports & Media’s Adult Contemporary radio stations this fall.

Shaw replaces Dina Pugliese, who left BT earlier this year to spend more time with her family.

“It is my pleasure to step into this new role, a real dream come true,” Shaw said. “From the moment I met Sid, I knew we could talk about anything, laugh about anything, and, most of all, be honest with each other and the audience. I’m so thankful for his support throughout this process and can’t wait to see those iconic Seixeiro dance moves in person. Cheers to a big new adventure. I’m so grateful and so ready.”
