A global discount retailer has put bargain hunters on alert with a major announcement over its ever-expanding Australian footprint.
TK Maxx will open its first WA store at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre in Clarkson, in Perth’s north next month.
The shop — which will welcome customers from 9am October 5 — will be the company’s 78th in Australia since arriving here in 2017.

“We can’t wait to meet our Perth customers – both those who are familiar with TK Maxx from other parts of Australia or overseas, as well as those who are new to our unique shopping experience,” spokesperson Tony Dunseath said.
Further growth is on the cards, with the retailer’s website showing a store at Midland Gate Shopping Centre will also open this spring.
And more stores are planned over the coming years.
TK Maxx markets itself as the home of big brands at small prices, saying it trawls its network of vendors to secure top pieces from recognised and up-and-coming labels without hurting the hip pocket.
Shoppers will find women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion, shoes, accessories, beauty, toys, homewares and more.
Each outlet receives thousands of new items every week, meaning the shop floor is consistently turning over.
Customers have been told that there is no “out the back”, so you will have to be quick to score the item you want before it sells out.
There are more than 600 TK Maxx stores in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Austria and the Netherlands.
