Russian superstar Daniil Medvedev once again drew the ire of Aussie tennis great Todd Woodbridge during the US Open final.
A rule change earlier in the season put a time limit on toilet breaks, and players have been taking the full allocation, much to the chagrin of spectators and former players.
After losing the first set of the final 6-3 to Novak Djokovic, Medvedev left the Arthur Ashe Stadium court for an extended period.

He did the same after losing the first set against Alex de Minaur earlier in the tournament, before bouncing back to beat the Aussie.
“Here we are again,” Woodbridge said on Nine.
“We’ve played a set of tennis, he’s gone off for the full kit change, some of the momentum breakers throughout this tournament have been quite extraordinary.”
While the Medvedev break gave him an advantage against De Minaur, Woodbridge suggested it would backfire against Djokovic.

“Its interesting they’re taking that off-court break. I think Novak is the greatest player with the ability to reset of any player I’ve watched,” he said.

“He can leave the court, or (his opponent) leave it and he takes that time to refocus so well.
“I thought Medvedev was playing himself back into that set well then, after dropping that first service game it was actually quite tight tennis.
“This first game is so crucial for Medvedev, but Novak can go into that lock on his own very well after a break.”
Medvedev did hold his first game of the second set.
