Absurd dimensions & Design
The Beast is said to weight somewhere between 6,800 kg to 9,100 kg, and has a capacity to seat seven. The sedan measures about 18 feet or around 5.5 metres in length, from bumper to bumper. It is rumoured to be built on the GMC TopKick platform, which is actually used for medium duty trucks. Talking about the design, it is unlike any other Cadillac sedan out in the market, and actually looks like it is the sedan version of the previous-gen Escalade SUV.
Safety equipment
The Beast is hermetically sealed against chemical attacks, and features night-vision devices, smoke-screens, and oil slicks as defensive measures against attackers. In addition to defensive measures designed to protect the president, the state car also has stores of blood in the president’s type for an emergency transfusion.

It features armor made of aluminum, ceramic, and steel; the exterior walls have a thickness of eight inches, while the the windows are multi-layered and five inches thick, and each door is believed to weigh as much as those on a Boeing 757, while the door handles can electrify to prevent unwanted entry. Pump-action shotguns, rocket-powered grenades, tear-gas grenades are all said to be on-board. Moreover, the car uses tyres that are kevlar-reinforced, steel rims, shred and puncture resistant. The Beast can also run on burst tyres.
Inside the cabin
The president’s seat is said to have a satellite phone with a direct line to the Vice President as well as the Pentagon. In the boot there are firefighting system, an oxygen system in the trunk in case of a chemical attack, tear gas and smoke-screen dispensers. Other equipment is also expected to be on offer for the US president’s convenience – details of which are probably hidden from hidden from the public for safety purposes.
