Police have charged a woman who showed up at court to support the alleged driver of a speeding high-performance car that crashed and killed two siblings.
Officers chased after the 22-year-old woman outside Liverpool Local Court, after prosecutors had upgraded the charges against Johnson Kokozian, 20, over the horrific Friday night smash in southwest Sydney.
Kokozian allegedly fled the scene after crashing a Mercedes-Benz AMG while travelling at nearly double the speed limit for the 50km/h zone.

Alina Kauffman, 24, and her 15-year-old brother Ernesto Salazar were killed just 200m from their Heckenberg home.
Police initially charged Kokozian with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death, but those charges were upgraded to aggravated dangerous driving occasioning death due to the alleged excessive speed.
He was also charged with driving in a dangerous manner, negligent driving occasioning death, two counts of failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing death, as well as driving while disqualified.
Kokozian did not appear in court on Wednesday after being denied bail at the weekend.
A prosecutor told the court a brief of evidence would be served before the next appearance in November at Campbelltown.
Police have been looking for the other alleged occupants of the Mercedes, after being told three young men fled the aftermath of the crash in a Volkswagen Golf.
Officers arrested the 22-year-old woman outside the court, while earlier on Wednesday a 21-year-old man was arrested at a home in Liverpool.
Both were questioned before being charged with concealing a serious indictable offence of other, and hinder investigation of a serious indictable offence of other.
They were refused bail to appear before the same court on Wednesday afternoon.
A 61-year-old man was also arrested on Wednesday in Cartwright.
He is assisting police with inquiries.
On Monday, the victims’ mother Angelina Kauffman told 7NEWS she did not understand how anyone could abandon her kids.
She also blasted others who recorded and shared her children’s dying moments on social media but did little to help.
“I have to go to the morgue to see my kids. I have to go and identify their bodies although I already know it’s them,” she said.
“I just want to kiss my kids, I just want to hug my kids. I just want my kids.”
