The Nexon.ev is offered in two variants – Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). The Medium Range (MR) gets a 30 kWh battery pack paired with a Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor which puts out 129hp and 215Nm of torque. It has a claimed range of 325km and the battery can be charged from 10 to 100 per cent in 4.3 hours using a 7.2kW AC charger that comes as standard.
The Long Range (LR) gets a 40.5kWh battery pack paired with a Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor which puts out 145hp and 215Nm of torque. It has a claimed range of 465km and the battery can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 6 hours using a 7.2kW AC charger that comes as standard. Using a DC fast charger, both Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) can be charged in 56 minutes.
Talking about the Mahindra XUV 400 electric, the EV is offered in EC and EL. The EC gets a 34.5kWh battery pack and the EL gets a 39.4 kWh. Both come paired with a front axle-mounted electric motor that produces 150hp and 310Nm of torque. The EV also features three driving modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless.

The XUV400 with the 34.5kWh battery has a claimed range of 375km and the bigger 39.4kWh battery has a claimed range of 456km on a single charge. The battery packs can charged from 0-80 percent within 50 minutes, using a 50kW DC fast charger.
Talking about the features, the Nexon. ev gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with new Ui, digital instrument cluster, two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, single-pane sunroof, touch-based HVAC controls with automatic climate control, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, air purifier, fast charging type-C ports, 360-degree camera, V2V (vehicle to vehicle) and V2L (vehicle to load).
The XUV 400 gets a smaller 7.0-inch touchscreen with Mahindra’s AdrenoX software, a single-pane sunroof, connected car technology with over-the-air (OTA) updates, automatic headlamps, semi-digital cluster, projector headlamps and more. Safety features include six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, an IP67 rating for the battery pack and ISOFIX anchorages as a safety kit.
